Celiac disease: Lack of vitamins D and K affects bone health in celiac disease

Abstract
Children with celiac disease have poor bone health, even after 1 year on a gluten-free diet, according to a Canadian study. A low intake of vitamins D and K could reduce bone health; therefore, these vitamins should be added to the diets of children with this disease.
