Nutrition Assessment
- Your journey begins with a detailed nutrition assessment to understand your unique dietary habits and nutritional needs.
- Before your initial consultation, you’ll complete a VioScreen dietary assessment form—a scientifically validated tool that efficiently analyzes your typical intake and provides a comprehensive report, including your Healthy Eating Index (HEI) score (ranging from 0 to 100), which reflects the overall quality and balance of your diet.
- Additional assessment will include review of your 7 day food diary.

Nutrition Diagnostics
- Using information gathered from your assessment, specific nutrition-related issues are identified.
- Analysis of your 7-day food diary helps pinpoint food sensitivities, potential allergens, and dietary triggers for symptoms.
- Laboratory results may reveal issues such as elevated blood sugar, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, abnormal blood lipids, or anemia, guiding the focus of your nutrition plan.

Nutrition Intervention
- Based on your diagnosis, a personalized nutrition intervention is developed to address your needs and goals.
- This may include:
- Avoiding or limiting foods that trigger symptoms or sensitivities.
- Ensuring adequate intake of key nutrients through food choices or supplementation.
- Introducing medical foods (such as the Physicians Elemental Diet), when appropriate, for conditions like IBS, SIBO, or IBD.
- Laboratory results may reveal issues such as elevated blood sugar, vitamin or mineral deficiencies, abnormal blood lipids, or anemia, guiding the focus of your nutrition plan.
- Together, we create a tailored plan to help you reach your wellness goals—whether that’s improving gut health, boosting energy, managing weight, enhancing skin health, reducing blood pressure, stabilizing blood sugar, or simply feeling your best.

Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation
- Progress is regularly monitored using the same domains as the initial assessment, such as food intake, lab results, and physical measurements.
- Your plan is adjusted as needed to ensure ongoing improvement and to address any new challenges or goals that arise.
- This repetitive process ensures your nutrition therapy remains effective and responsive to your changing needs.
